Stock a cable you won't get returns on.

Tone Vault cables are built by working musicians and carry a limited lifetime warranty we honour ourselves. For a dealer that means strong margin on a product that doesn't come back — and when one does fail, the customer deals with us, not you.

Why carry it

What's in it for your shop

Margin that works

Dealer pricing is set well below MAP, and it holds on the multipacks rather than eroding. We'll send you the full price sheet once you're approved.

We own the warranty

Professional and Headliner Series carry a limited lifetime warranty, Artist Series two years. Claims come to us with a prepaid label. Your counter staff don't absorb it.

MAP protected

We enforce a minimum advertised price. You are not going to stock this and then watch someone undercut you online by forty percent.

Who we work with

If you sell to players, we should talk

We are a small brand and we would rather have fewer dealers who actually sell than a long list who don't.

How it works

Four steps, no sales call unless you want one

1

Apply

Fill in the form below. We need your resale certificate number — that is the one field we cannot proceed without.

2

We review it

Usually within two business days. We are looking at fit, not size — a one-room studio that sells ten cables a month is a good dealer.

3

You get pricing

A full dealer price sheet across every series and pack size, along with our MAP policy in writing.

4

Order

Place your opening order by email. We ship from our own warehouse in Minnesota, so you are not waiting on a distributor.

Dealer application

Everything here goes straight to us. If you would rather just ask a question first, email [email protected] with Dealer in the subject line.

The commercial bit

Terms, stated plainly

What is the minimum opening order?
30 units per SKU. Thirty of the same product, in the same length and pack size — so pick the lengths that actually move in your shop rather than spreading thin across the range. You can order as few or as many SKUs as you like; the minimum applies to each one individually.
Is there a minimum reorder?
Also 30 units per SKU. Same threshold as the opening order, so there's nothing new to work out on a reorder.
What are the payment terms?
Payment in full before shipment. We invoice you once your order is confirmed, and the order ships once it's paid. No net terms — we're a small operation and we'd rather keep pricing sharp than carry receivables.
How quickly do dealer orders ship?
Typically two weeks from payment to dispatch. We'll tell you up front if a particular SKU is going to run longer, so you can plan around it rather than chase us.

Shipping is charged on dealer orders. The free shipping on our retail store doesn't extend to wholesale — at wholesale pricing it's carried in the margin instead. We'll quote freight with your order.
What is your MAP policy?
We operate a minimum advertised price across every product. You are free to sell at any price you choose in store, but advertised pricing — your website, marketplace listings, printed ads — must not go below MAP. The full policy comes with your price sheet. We enforce it, because a dealer who stocks us deserves not to be undercut.
What margin can we expect?
Enough to make stocking it worthwhile — meaningfully ahead of what most cable lines return. We go through exact figures once your application is approved, rather than publishing our pricing where everyone can read it. Apply and we'll send the full sheet.
Do you offer exclusive territories?
Considered case by case. We don't hand out territories by default, but we're not looking to stack three dealers on one street either — that helps nobody and it's the fastest way to break MAP.

If exclusivity matters to you, raise it in your application and tell us the area you'd want. It's a conversation, not a form field, and it usually comes down to what you're willing to commit to in return.
Who handles a warranty claim from our customer?
We do. Send them to tone-vault.com/warranty, or file on their behalf. We issue a prepaid label and repair or replace the cable ourselves, at our cost. You are not out of pocket and you are not holding stock you can't sell.
Can we sell on Amazon, Reverb or eBay?
By written approval only. We sell on Amazon and Walmart ourselves, so unrestricted marketplace resale would put you and us on the same listing competing for the same buyer — which helps neither of us.

That said, we're not flatly against it. If marketplaces are a real part of how you sell, tell us in your application and we'll talk it through. Approval is per marketplace and in writing. Selling in your store and on your own website needs no approval at all.
Does dealer pricing ever change?
It can. Our cables use gold plated contacts and oxygen-free copper, so dealer pricing may move with precious metal and raw material costs. We give notice before any change takes effect.
